Over a year ago, work began on what is now CreativeConnections. It started with the realization that despite being surrounded by hundreds of creative businesses and people, for one reason or another, we just weren’t running into each other. We were keen to meet local creatives, share ideas, and learn about their projects and all the things going on around us.

At the time, there wasn’t an identifiable thing in existence coordinating what we were looking for— a place fostering creative connection across multiple different industries, centered around truly interesting and inspiring dialogue with people we hoped to hear and learn from. The goal was to bring creative people together, spark conversation, inspire collaboration, and ultimately build a little community that keeps us curious, learning, and growing.

We discussed the desire for a place that would encourage us to build relationships, share our unique ideas, and help each other bring things into the world by leveraging the perspective, background, and expertise of a truly diverse crowd.

CreativeConnections is a product of this vision. Our existence its hopefully the first of many projects that will come from using our individual skills and collective strength, to turn rough ideas into something new and real.
